In the film, director John Noble, describes the situation as “heart-wrenching”, explaining that they’ve lost 95% of their business this year. 

He says: “It wasn’t really until we started to see the heightened incidents of coronavirus that we thought we might see some impact on the business. As the lockdown got worse, the prognosis for the year got worse.

“They’re (the children) are allowed to go to schools in a bubble group and they stay in that bubble group, why can’t they just bring that full bubble group to us? We predominantly do our activities outside and outdoor spaces are highly unlikely for the transmission of Covid-19.”

Overnight educational visits haven’t been permitted since March but the Department for Education has now said it will review the possibility of changing its advice for residentials to resume from Easter 2021.
