Tickets for performances of the West End show from summer to December 2027 are available for school groups now, with workshop options too.
School groups can access discounted tickets on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday performances of Disney’s The Lion King during term time, and bookings are open now for the second half of 2027.
Bundles including a brochure, ice cream and water for each pupil can be added. Bookings made through Disney Tickets will also qualify for a 20% discount on merchandise sold at the theatre merch kiosk.
Educational trips and workshops for The Lion King
Key Stage 2-4 trips are supported by free teacher resources that link the show to the art & design, drama, music, citizenship, English and PSHE/PSE curriculum. These include a summary of the story, character profiles and factsheets about the production.
Pre-show performance workshops are a popular addition to an education booking. The 90-minute workshops, led by specially trained Disney Teaching Artists, take place at a rehearsal studio in central London and explore singing, choreography and acting inspired by The Lion King.
Students will learn and perform scenes, songs and dances from the show, and they can also expect to develop core skills such as communication and collaboration.
