Harry Potter and the Cursed Child resource packs for schools

The play also provides free resource packs for schools which include activities students can do before seeing the show which includes questions about the Harry Potter series, such as: Do you have a favourite character from the Harry Potter stories? If so, why do you like them? Or more academic-focused questions including, having looked at the marketing and social media resources, what do you expect from the production?

The pack also features tasks that students can take part in after they have seen the show. These cover a variety of topics including theatre, identity, and even the character’s goals in the play. The activities encourage students to think about the lighting and staging of the play which allows them to gain knowledge of the more technical aspects of theatre.

Themes from the play are covered, allowing students to draw from their own experiences in order to relate to the characters.
