The climbing wall is part of the Pritchard Adventure Course at the centre in Sussex.

Based beside Chichester Harbour, the new activity course has been designed to help young people to develop confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through outdoor activity and residential visits.

The Pritchard Adventure Course at Cobnor Activities Centre Trust features four different challenges around each side. There is a dual-sided climbing wall with a choice of routes at different difficulty levels, Jacob’s Ladder with oversized gaps requiring teamwork between pupils to reach the top, Gladiator Challenge with different tasks and crate stacking which requires pupils to work together to build a stable tower.

Tom Collins, chief activities officer at Cobnor Activities Centre Trust said: “Our aim is to give young people opportunities to grow outside the classroom, supported every step of the way by our highly experienced outdoor instructors. The adventure course does exactly that - pupils develop communication, leadership, and resilience while teachers have complete peace of mind that every activity takes place in a safe, well-managed, and inclusive environment.”
