Stu Meese

Stu is LOtC Quality Badge Manager for the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom (CLOtC), the national charity that champions all learning that happens beyond the classroom.

Stu has more than 30 years’ experience supporting meaningful, safe and inspiring learning beyond the classroom. Originally from the Midlands, he has spent many years living and working across Europe which continues to shape his approach to education.

Stu’s background spans outdoor centre leadership, youth work, adventurous activities, teaching and expedition leadership in the UK and overseas.

As LOtC Quality Badge Manager, Stu is responsible for managing the delivery of the LOtC Quality Badge scheme, including leading its development and growth so that more children and young people can benefit from high quality learning outside the classroom.
