What to expect at Raveleijn

Raveleijn: Battle for the City is a 20-minute live action, open air theatre show performed with horses and several action displays for students to enjoy throughout the day. The show is performed in Dutch, however there are audio boxes available with English translations.

Since opening in 2011, Raveleijn has grown into one of Efteling’s best known productions, where five ordinary children pass through a secret gate, transform into brave riders and subsequently must protect the city from evil. This December, students will follow the day of Thomas and Samira’s wedding, where a dark force awaken and disrupt the celebrations. The battle for the city commences…

School groups will not only watch the production but become part of the story. To help keep the city of Raveleijn safe, visitors can test their flying skills on the new ride, Ravenring. Students will take their seats in one of the 18 winged vehicles, inspired by the Raveleijn ravens and must discover which of the five magical elements suits them best. Each flight accommodates 36 visitors per ride.
