KidZania events announced for the next school year, plus early booking discounts

Those planning ahead to September can take advantage of KidZania’s offering, with details of its upcoming events already announced. Plus earlybird discounts are available now.

The calendar of events for the attraction in London includes a STEAM Week, a Business & Careers Festival, and Parliament Week activities.

Details of upcoming events

The STEAM Week will be taking place from 5th October and aims to offer inspiration to students to develop Art and Design skills. It looks at a range of career-based activities that the attraction provides and how they can be linked to these subjects.

The week is suitable for Key Stage 1 to 3 groups and can be linked to the curriculum for Technology, PSHE, Art & Design.

The Business & Careers Festival is scheduled to take place between 11th and 13th October and will encourage students to build entrepreneurship skills as well as financial literacy. It will involve the method of Learning by Doing and will see pupils getting hands-on and enjoying the interactive zones at the attraction.

Also suitable for Key Stages 1 to 3, this event will tie in with PSHE and Business Studies.

Parliament Week events will take place on 14th and 15th November and will celebrate the National week which aims to get the younger generation more involved in politics and gain a better understanding of how parliament works.

The KidZania events during this week aims to increase pupil engagement in democracy and will feature guest speakers. 

This event can tie in with History and PSHE and is, again, suitable for Key Stages 1 to 3 pupils.

Book next year’s educational trip with an early booker saving - only £10 per child. To redeem, quote “STO18” in the payment notes in the online booking form and book by 15th July. Reserve your space with a 50% deposit and the rest is payable 30 days before your visit.

More for youngsters

The attraction is also running new Book of the Month events which will be running from June until September. The events will include talks and readings from a selection of children’s authors, with more authors to be announced throughout the year. 

The aim of the events is to get children more enthused by Literacy and reading and writing.

However, the dates revealed so far take place on Saturdays, so teachers interested should contact the education team on schools@kidzania.co.uk for information about the schools’ offering.
