The Natural History Museum is located in South Kensington, London.

Bookings for curriculum-linked activities at the Natural History Museum are available up to 19th December 2025, with sessions available for young people from EYFS to post-16.

Workshops and shows are for a minimum of 15 pupils and are led by learning facilitators. Activities should be booked at least three weeks in advance.

The Nature Discover Garden hosts outdoor interactive workshops for EYFS - KS2 school groups. Other workshops are available inside the museum, focused on dinosaurs, evolution and biodiversity.

Reception and Key Stage 1 pupils can take part in Minibeast Hunt, an outdoor workshop based in the Nature Discover Garden, which explores habitats whilst pupils hunt for bugs. Pond Dipping is aimed at ages 6-11 and involves pupils using nets to catch pond life and observe behaviour, and to learn about what animals eat.
