School sports tour operator, Inspiresport, has launched a new set of European dance and theatre tours as part of its Inspiredance programme.
The tours are aimed at students aged between eight and 18 at academy schools and dance schools. They have been designed to provide inspirational dance opportunities for budding dancers and performing arts enthusiasts.
The European performing arts tours will take place in London, Paris and Disneyland Paris.
As well as expert tuition, the tours will include sightseeing experiences, theatre performances and workshops.
There will also be the chance to go behind the scenes at some of the world’s most recognised dance and musical theatre venues.
As well as developing students’ skills in dance, the tours will also look to improve confidence and help build aspirations.
Schools can tailor their experience so the group’s ability level and preferred genre – whether it’s jazz or hip-hop, commercial or musical theatre.
Packages to the Europe Dance Challenge one-day competition are also available through Inspiredance.
The event, which is held in Disneyland Paris in October, is open to all schools in Europe, and gives pupils the opportunity to perform and compete in front of renowned industry judges.
Inspiredance is also set to team up with some of the world’s leading choreographers and dancers this April and May to offer school students UK masterclasses in dance and provide tips and training to the next generation of dancers
The one-day UK masterclasses will take place in London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Birmingham.
Founded in 2004, Inspiresport is endorsed by leading governing bodies for school sports travel and operates over 200 school tours a year.
