Synopsis: School of Rock the Musical
The show is based on the 2003 film School of Rock and has been adapted for stage by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
The musical follows failed wannabe rock star, Dewey Finn, who, in order to earn a bit of money for rent, poses as a supply teacher at a prestigious prep school. After discovering the students’ musical abilities, he decides to form a rock band with them and enters them into Battle of the Bands.
Meanwhile, Dewey falls for the school’s beautiful, but uptight headmistress, helping her rediscover the wild child within.
