The new attraction, The Silverstone Experience, set to open this summer has revealed details of its education programme.

Silverstone Experience

The new attraction is due to open in June.

The attraction is a new visitor experience at Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire, the home of British motor racing, and is set to open in June.

It is predicted to attract more than 500,000 visitors per year and will bring to life the history of Silverstone and British motor sport through a dynamic, interactive and educational experience.

The experience has released details of its dedicated schools programme, which will use the technical heritage of British motor racing to inspire the engineers of the future.

School trips to the Silverstone Experience

School groups visiting will get to explore the exhibition, which is 4,000m² in size, as they are taken on a ‘journey’ through the past, present and future of Silverstone and motor sport in general.

A Technology Lab will form part of the ‘journey’, within which school groups of all Key Stages can learn about the engineering and technology that has changed the world of motor sport.
