The East Front of Warwick Castle

Up to 16 new lodges will be available for school groups to stay in next year at Warwick Castle, providing a new overnight option for a residential trip.

There will be two types of themed lodges; a woodland lodge and a knight’s lodge, and teachers can register their interest online now

The woodland lodges will be set on the river in the woodlands of the castle estate, and contain a double bedroom, two bunks, a truckle bed option and a shower/wet room.

The knight’s lodges, mezzanine-style accommodation, will also be located by the river, and have an upstairs double bedroom, two bunks and a truckle bed option.

These buildings are slightly bigger than the woodland lodges, and have been built with an open plan lounge with a sofa bed to be able to sleep seven or eight people overall.

Both types of themed lodge come with a kitchenette, a television and free Wi-Fi, and are built with a terrace out the front.

Further school travel information about the lodges will be released shortly.

A series of events for schools will be taking place in 2016. These include National Storytelling Week beginning 5th February, the Warwick Castle Science Fair on 18th to 22nd April, and Meet the Tudors workshops which are available between 7th and 11th March (booking essential).
