Murder at the fort, a Roman murder mystery KS2 & 3

Venue: Housesteads Roman Fort, Hadrian's Wall

Term: Ongoing

Key Stage 2 and 3 students will become History detectives and solve a Roman murder mystery during this one-and-a-half hour long learning session.

Two skeletons have been found buried at the fort and the class must explore the possible murder suspects.

Students will try to piece together the clues, and in the process learn about life in the Roman fort, developing discussion skills and judgements based on evidence.
