York Dungeon opens Tyrannical Tudors

School groups visiting The York Dungeon can meet the Tudors and Henry VIII from 4th April when it launches its new show Tyrannical Tudors.

Tyrannical Tudors promises brand new characters, costumes, script and a theatrical 360 degree set.

Students will step back into St Mary’s Abbey in 1541, where King Henry VIII has brought the Dissolution of the Monasteries and York is in a bad way.

The York Dungeon is a 75-minute performance-based show which contains nine actor led shows, filled with comedy, Yorkshire stories and ‘banter’.
