Wyndham’s Theatre home for King Charles III

Date Posted: 29/05/2014

The Almeida Theatre’s production of Mike Bartlett’s controversial play King Charles III will transfer to the West End’s Wyndham’s Theatre from 2nd September to 29th November.

Tim Pigott-Smith is set to reprise his role of Charles. The cast also includes Richard Goulding, Nyasha Hatendi, Adam James, Margot Leicester, Tom Robertson, Nicholas Rowe, Tafline Steen and Lydia Wilson.

King Charles III explores the people underneath the crowns, the unwritten rules of our democracy, and the conscience of Britain's most famous family.

The Queen is dead: after a lifetime of waiting, the prince ascends the throne. A future of power. But how to rule?

School trip organisers can purchase tickets for King Charles III now. Discounted rates are available for parties of ten or more for Tuesday to Thursday performances, with one free teacher place per every ten pupils paid.
