The School Travel Awards lunch and ceremony will take place at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, London on Thursday 10th November.

The new School Travel Awards are here to recognise the best venues, attractions and companies for school trips, so that teachers can organise first class experiences when it comes to learning outside the classroom.

Television journalist and national newsreader Fiona Bruce will host the ceremony. Fiona is perhaps best known for anchoring BBC News broadcasts and has also presented peak time programmes such as Crimewatch, Antiques Roadshow, Panorama and a number of BBC documentaries on subjects as diverse as the Queen’s palaces to Leonardo da Vinci.

Those coming to the School Travel Awards lunch and ceremony will be able to find out who has won awards including the Best Heritage Venue, the Best Sporting Venue, the Best Theatre Production for Schools and Best International Destination or Attraction, amongst many others.

Audiences will also find out which teachers or organisers have won the My Best School Trip Award, which comes with a prize of £1,500, and the School Trip Champion Award, which has a prize of £1,000.
