The interactive children’s theatre show, Dinosaur World Live, will embark on its 2019 UK tour on 12th March.

Dinosaur World Live 2019 UK Tour

Dinosaur World Live is created using giant puppetry.

The 2019 tour begins at The Winter Gardens in Margate, before moving on to visit a further 32 venues nationwide including Darlington Hippodrome, Portsmouth’s New Theatre Royal and Nottingham’s Royal Concert hall. The tour is then due to conclude in July at the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham.

Delivering an entertaining and educational live show, Dinosaur World Live provides a great opportunity to introduce students to live theatre, allowing for an easy link to the Drama curriculum.

Free teacher packs containing curriculum-based activities suitable for Key Stage 1, with ties to English, Maths, Science, Art and Design subjects, will then allow your class to explore the show further and are available to download free online.

Post show, students will have the chance to meet the dinosaurs up-close, which will aid further in bringing to life the creatures they’ve just seen on stage.

What is Dinosaur World Live?

Dinosaur World Live uses puppetry to bring life-like dinosaurs to the stage, presenting a host of pre-historic creatures including every child’s favourite, the T-Rex, along with a Giraffatitan, Segnosaurus and Triceratops.

The show introduces Miranda, daughter of palaeontologists, who grew up surrounded by dinosaurs on a far-away island off the coast of South America.
