Super-fast zip line to open in Snowdonia

Date Posted: 02/06/2014

A new attraction from Zip World, Titan is set to open on 4th June in the national park and mountainous region of Snowdonia in Wales.

The zip line lays claim to being the largest of its kind in the world, taking people along eight kilometres of wire at around 70 miles per hour.

Thrill-seeking students can also ride alongside each other - as four zips will be in action at one time on each of the three sections of wire.

School groups visiting the new attraction will take a mini bus ride to heights of 1,500 feet before flying down the wires.

Zip liners will get kitted up at the underground Slate Caverns which also offers tours 500 feet underground.
