Special events for schools at Tullie House

The Carlisle-based museum and art gallery is running a series of school weeks this autumn and next spring.

Each is a full day session and cost £5.50 per pupil except the Wetlands Week which is free of charge.

Events planned are:

•    African Week (KS1 and 2), 20th to 24th October
•    Christmas through the Ages (KS1 and 2), 24th to 28th November
•    National Science and Engineering Week (KS 1), 9th to 13th March
•    National Science and Engineering Week (KS2), 16th to 20th March
•    Mini Museum and Gallery Week (KS2), 20th to 24th April
•    Wetlands Week (Key Stage 2) 15th to 19th June

Exhibition highlights include The Jewish Living Experience from 2nd to 11th November, which will have accompanying workshops.

War Games from 4th October to 11th January 2015 is an exhibition from the Victorian and Albert Museum of Childhood

With toys and games on display including Risk, GI Joe and classic British toy soldiers, as well as photographs and archive documents, War Games represents differing sides of conflicts from around the world
