Date Posted: 09/09/2013

At-Bristol, the Harbourside science centre, will host an ice rink on Millennium Square for the first time this winter.

School trip organisers can arrange a visit from 9th November until 5th January, and the rink will be open from 10am until 8pm each day for public sessions running every hour.

Located in the heart of the Harbourside, the ice rink will run underneath At-Bristol’s chrome-plated Planetarium building, with a maximum capacity of 150 skaters per session. The winter attraction will be available for [school] group bookings, as well as for private hire in the evenings, and is also set to host several special events.

Donna Speed, At-Bristol’s commercial and operations director said: “We’re delighted to have an ice rink in the Harbourside this winter, it’ll be a really important part of the winter activity in the city, and we hope that it’ll really add some sparkle to Christmas in Bristol.”

Tickets will cost £7.50 for adults and £6.50 for concessions.
