Shugborough Estate's summer exhibition programme

Lichfield at the Moviesis one of the highlights of Shugborough Estate in Staffordshire’s exhibition programme this spring/summer.

The photographic exhibition, which runs from 20th July to 1st September, features pictures taken by Patrick Lichfield of Hollywood stars. It will be staged in the Cinema Room at Shugborough; the latest room in the house to be opened-up to the public.

Previously a room used by Patrick Lichfield for screening movies for family and friends, it has been unlocked, dusted-down, and made-ready for a series of summer exhibitions.

Exhibitions at Shugborough this spring/summer

Teachers arranging a trip to the mansion house in the next few weeks can catch the Staffordshire Enjoy Art spring exhibition, featuring work by local artists, from 30th March to 13th April.

Shugborough Wildlife- a photographic exhibition by Andy and Helen Holt will run from 25th May to 2nd June.

A key exhibition will be staged in The Servant’s Quarters. Reflecting the estate’s neo-classical influences, Gods, Greeks and Gorgons will run from the 22nd March to the 22nd October.

School groups are entitled to a variety of discounts on entry, which can be extended to include workshops and tours.
