Shaun the Sheep design challenge for schools

Date Posted: 22/10/2014

Next year schools will be given the opportunity to get involved with a new Shaun in the City project as part of Aardman’s art trails, which will see over 100 giant sculptures of Shaun the Sheep appearing across London and Bristol.

Mirroring the Gromit Unleashed art trail in 2012, the sculptures - which have been created by artists, celebrities and designers - will be placed in iconic locations across the two cities.

By signing up to the project online, teachers can access lesson plans, model-making ideas and creative worksheets − plus, pupils can enter ‘Shaun’s Cracking Ideas Design Challenge’.

When the sculptures are taken down they will all be auctioned off to raise money for sick children in hospitals across the UK.

Pupils will be able to see the colourful sculptures from spring next year in London, before they are moved to Bristol in the summer.
