School trip venues showcased at south west exhibition

Wookey Hole Mill in Somerset will be the venue for the Educational School Trip Venues and Outdoor Activities in the South West show on 18th September.

Running from 2pm to 6pm, the event has been organised by Wookey Hole and the Somerset Tourism association.

Over 50 exhibitors from the south west region will be in attendance including museums, residential activity centres, National Trust properties, wildlife and country parks and farms, project and grant funding advice, railways, nature reserves and more. 

Workshops, cave tours and cheese tasting

In addition to the exhibition, other activities will take place throughout the site, including workshops, live animal displays, kayak racing and willow basket weaving.

Cave tours and 4D cinema shows can be pre-booked through and to round the exhibition off, Wookey Hole Circus School will be performing a Pirate Circus show in its theatre.

Light refreshments will be available throughout, and cave-aged wine and cheese tasting will also be on offer.
