For school trip ideas, holiday inspiration and expert advice, head to the Group Leisure & Travel Trade Show this Thursday.

Taking place in Hall 8 of the NEC Birmingham, this one-day travel event features hundreds of top names ranging from attractions, UK and overseas tourist boards to rail operators, hotels and tour operators.

You can also get expert advice to tackle your group travel issues with a range of free seminars taking place throughout the day. Headlined by Simon Calder, senior travel editor of The Independent, highlights include ‘Removing the Headache of Coach Travel into London’ and ‘How to Find the Best Hotels for Groups’. Simon will also take part in a special Q&A to be moderated by Group Leisure publisher, Rob Yandell.

There’s also exclusive offers and competition prizes up for grabs from the likes of The View from The Shard, The Eden Project, Ripleys Believe It or Not! London, Visit Peak District, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, G Adventures and Superbreak.

Entry to the 2014 GLTT Show is free, and visitors can enjoy a free bacon butty breakfast before 11am.

“The GLTT really is the place to be if you’re a school trip organiser or travel buyer,” said show director Graham Yandell. “There will be plenty going on, with hundreds of exhibitors and a brand new seminar programme to advise and assist with your travel planning.”
