Voyages-sncf, which sells tickets for train travel across Europe, has reported an increase in school trip sales since School Travel Organiser magazine ran a profile on the company.

School Travel Organiser

Alison Wood, B2B marketing manager and sales support for the UK office, said they had received a lot of interest from teachers and schools since the article was published in the December edition.

“It’s really promising to know that the readers of School Travel Organiser magazine have responded so well to the profile of Voyages-sncf,” she commented. “It’s very encouraging that new customers are getting in contact with us in response to the feature to book school trips; we’ve also had some incredibly positive feedback from teachers and schools, many of whom have booked, or are looking to book, trips with Voyages-sncf.”

The article, which highlighted Voyages-sncf as the world’s largest distributor of European rail products, included teacher testimonials about trips booked through the company. Alison said: “We want to spread the message to other teachers that train travel can be an easy and accessible mode of transport when booking a trip to Europe”.

STO Editor Keeley Rodgers added: “We have enjoyed working with Voyages-sncf on raising awareness among teachers and schools about using train travel for their future school trips. With such a vast network and many great destinations, the European rail network has plenty on offer for schools to consider when planning their travels.”
