Q&A performances launched for The Woman in Black

Study Experiences has announced the dates for three special school matinee performances of The Woman in Black with Q&As.

Schools can now book to experience one of three matinee performances of The Woman in Black that come with a free post-production Q&A.

The shows will take place on Tuesday 15th September, 13th October and 10th November at 1pm at the Fortune Theatre in Covent Garden, and be followed by a question and answer session with director Robin Herford and members of the cast.

The Q&A sessions last for approximately twenty minutes after the show and they’ve been designed to deepen understanding of the narrative and dramatic tools used to create the stage play, covering any aspects of the production, with face-to-face time with members of the cast or crew.

The sessions have been developed for Key Stage 3 to 5 pupils studying Drama, Art & Design, Dance, Media Studies, English, Music, ICT, RE, PSHE and Citizenship. Study Experiences has also created a free resource pack for use alongside a visit to the play.

The show visit and Q&A ties in to a two or three day theatre break that also includes coach travel, pick-up and drop-off at the school, individually tailored itineraries, three-star hotel accommodation, services of a Study Experiences tour manager and guided sightseeing tour of London.
