National Theatre Wales’ walking performances

Date Posted: 24/06/2014

National Theatre Wales’ next production, The Gathering is an on-foot exploration of the annual cycle of sheep-farming on a farm at the foothills of Mount Snowdon.

The walking performances take place in Snowdonia. Pupils will journey through installations and performances inspired by the location, its day-to-day workings, its history and its people.

Created and directed by Louise Ann Wilson, the production will feature new poetry by Wales’ national poet, Gillian Clarke, with sound, film, and movement.
