Manchester museum says get voting

Date Posted: 27/11/2014

As Britain builds up to the general election on 7th May the People’s History Museum’s next changing exhibition is set to mirror the political action.

Election! Britain Votes runs from 14th February to 28th June and is set to educate young people on why they should use their votes.

The exhibition will show an object from every general election since 1906. From posters to plates to pipes, Election! will be a whirlwind history of voting in modern Britain.

The show will evolve and grow throughout the 2015 campaign. Content will be dictated by events, with displays updated daily.

Election! will also provide a space where students can get involved and discuss the election issues as they occur.
