Macdonald activity centre open to school groups

Date Posted: 25/08/2014

Featuring nine interconnected age-specific zones, the new play area is based at the Macdonald Aviemore Resort in the Scottish Highlands.

Each zone is packed with some of the latest interactive technology.

Younger children can play in Explore, a three-storey high, soft play maze with discovery tables and drawing.

Play next door (for ages six to 12) is the base for the chance to discover science, enjoy the interactive floor space, make jewellery and even take to the stage as a costumed actor.

For teenagers the Game Zone features a giant plasma screen and X-Box, while Mix is where budding DJs and musicians can use a drum kit, electronic mixing desk and video technology to cut their own tracks or to record their latest dance moves.

There are three sessions per day: 9.30am-12.30pm; 1.30pm-4.30pm and 6pm-9pm. All sessions must be pre-booked on 01479-815286.
