London Duck Tours returns with its educational tours

Date Posted: 02/07/2014

The sightseeing company’s bright yellow vehicles will once again be a familiar sight in London, following a fire last year which led to it suspending its operation.

After re-engineering its vehicles to improve their safety beyond legislative requirements, London Duck Tours will recommence its educational tours on the 8th July.

Pupils will once again be able to experience a trip around some of the capital’s famous sights by road, before the splashdown and cruise along the Thames.

The Maritime and Coast-guard Agency (MCA) stated that it was satisfied safety concerns had been addressed.

London Duck Tours leave from just behind the London Eye and takes approximately 75-minutes. Teachers can choose from the following tours: Classic Sightseeing Tour, D-Day Duck or City Tour. Tours can be adapted to suit different educational needs and age groups.
