Legoland launches new robotics workshops for KS2, 3 and 4

Date Posted: 25/09/2015

In a series of newly revealed workshops at Legoland, students can take their first steps towards learning about robotics.

Suitable for Key Stages 2 and 3, Legoland’s Mindstorms Space Challenge can cover the subjects of Science, Maths, Computing and Design and Technology.

Students will take on the roles of scientists and engineers as they progress through missions to Mars, putting their creative problem solving skills to the test through a number of space themed challenges.

School travel organisers will find various curriculum-related topics prevalent throughout the workshops, for example, using Pythagoras’ Theorem and trigonometric ratios in Maths, or learning about gravitational field strength in relation to Science.
