Large-scale Lego exhibition in London

Date Posted: 07/06/2014

Featuring over 75 art sculptures created from Lego bricks, The Art of the Brick exhibition will be at the Old Truman Brewery in London from September through to January.

These one-of-a-kind Lego brick sculptures are the work of US artist Nathan Sawaya.

The artworks on display are large-scale sculptures, many of which are human figures, but also including a T-Rex skeleton constructed from over 80,000 Lego bricks that measures over six metres in length.

In addition, the exhibition includes an Interactive Zone where school groups can get hands-on and have a go at building their own Lego masterpieces.

The Art of the Brick is supported by education packs for Primary and Secondary school students. There are also teacher’s guides and support packs. School group rates are available.
