LEGOLAND to launch new workshops and back to school offer

Date Posted: 09/08/2018

LEGOLAND Windsor Resort will present two Key Stage 2 to 3 workshops, tying in with Science, Geography and Design in the new year. It is also providing free workshops with a 'back to school' offer.

Science of Rollercoasters and LEGO® EcoPower are available to book now under an ‘Early Booker’ price which will be valid for bookings before 31st January 2019.

What will the workshops include?

The Science of Rollercoasters session is suitable for Key Stage 2 and 3 pupils and ties in with Science and Design.

This workshop will involve hands-on investigations and exploration and will allow students to gain a better understanding of scientific subjects such as gravity, friction, weight, momentum, and the designs of rollercoasters.

The LEGO® EcoPower activity, also suitable for Key Stage 2 and 3 students will link to Science and Geography.

During this session, pupils will gain understanding on the differences between renewable and non-renewable energy sources and they will build a LEGO® model powered with renewable energy.

What else is new at Legoland in 2019?

Set to open in spring 2019 is a new ride – The Haunted House Monster Party. During which, visitors will take their seats at a banquet table in a decorated hall with ghastly monster party food, cauldrons, potion bottles and goblets each made up of hundreds of LEGO bricks.

Once sitting, the banquet hall will begin to swing and turn upside-down, transforming the room.
