KidZania has partnered with the Little Tiger Group to deliver a celebration of reading, writing and books, coinciding with World Book Day.

The pop-up event, referred to as the KidZania Book Festival, will take place between 28th February to 2nd March.

What can be expected at the event?

During the three-day literary event, young visitors will be given the opportunity to participate in a series of fun, interactive workshops led by the Little Tiger publishing team, introducing them to all sorts of publishing job functions; from editorial and design, to production and marketing. They will also get the chance to be inspired and entertained by Little Tiger authors and illustrators such as author Caroline Crowe and author/illustrator Jonny Lambert (Pictured).

In addition to the specifically publishing focused activities, World Book Day will be celebrated throughout the KidZania “city” with lots of activities given a literary twist.

In the newsroom, young journalists will report on World Book Day activity, in the radio and television studios books and reading will be the focus of programmes made and the courier service will deliver books to the new library, which Little Tiger will be stocking with books for children.
