Date Posted: 19/02/2014

Tony Award-winner John Lloyd Young, who originally played the role of Frankie Valli on Broadway in 2006, is set to re-join Jersey Boys when it moves to its new London home at the Piccadilly Theatre on 15th March.

Young will appear in the London production for a limited season until 27th April.

As Frankie Valli, John Lloyd Young won the Lead Actor Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Theatre World Awards, becoming the only American actor in history to win all four leading actor awards for a Broadway debut.

Also joining the new company at the Piccadilly Theatre will be Matt Nalton, making his West End debut as Nick Massi. Edd Post and Jon Boydon will continue as Bob Gaudio and Tommy De Vito, and Michael Watson will play the role of Frankie Valli on selected performances.

Jersey Boys opened in London at the Prince Edward Theatre in 2008 and school trip organisers can still book tickets for the show there until 9th March.

Jersey Boys is set to play at its new home, the Piccadilly Theatre until 26th October.
