Hogwarts Express comes to Warner Bros. Studio Tour

Date Posted: 04/02/2015

The Making of Harry Potter, run through Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, will get a massive expansion in March, giving teachers even more of a reason to make a school trip.

Opening on 19th March, the extension of the experience will span 22,000 feet and include a recreation of the magical Platform 9 ¾.

The platform will become the home of the original Hogwarts Express steam engine, which was featured throughout the Harry Potter film series – including the very last scene to be shot, in which grown-up Harry, Ron and Hermione wave their own children off to school.

Pupils will be able to sit in the train’s interior carriage and get their hands on prop luggage to find out who it was owned by.

The Warner Bros. Studio Tour London offers a variety of education opportunities, including lessons in Art, Design, Business, Media and Film, planned by qualified teachers.
