Grease 2 musical hits West End

Cool Rider, the musical sequel to Grease, will return to the West End for one week only this Easter. The show will play at London’s Duchess Theatre from 15th to 19th April.

The film Grease 2 told the heady and daring love story of two unlikely lovers and their road to romance from bowling alley to burger joint – with some motorcycle rides thrown in.

The musical version of the film, Cool Rider will feature hit songs from the film, including Who’s That Guy, Score Tonight, Cool Rider and Reproduction.

Ashleigh Gray and Aaron Sidwell will reprise their roles of Stephanie and Michael, originally played on screen by Michelle Pfeiffer and Maxwell Caulfield.

Ashleigh Gray’s recent theatre credits include standby Elphaba in Wicked at the Apollo Victoria Theatre and Martha in the UK tour of The Secret Garden.

Aaron Sidwell’s career began at 18 when he was cast as Steven Beale in EastEnders. Theatre includes Michael Dork in Loserville at the Garrick Theatre and Jack Sprat in the UK tour of Carnaby Street.
