The Go Forest School resource provides an activity sheet for teachers to download and use for their own forest schooling classes and during a visit to one of Go Ape’s centres.
The resource suggests activities to partake in, including leaf art, tree-ology, shelter building and minibeast hunting. Children can use the resources to record their findings.
Besides this, Go Ape also provides a number of other curriculum linked resources for Key Stages 1 to 4, tying in with Science, Geography, English, Maths and PSHE. These resources can be used during a visit.
Resources include Go Create Myths and Legends, Go Explore Adaptation and Evolution, Go Investigate Shape and Space, Go Discuss Anti-Bullying, Go Explore Physics, Go Discover Environmental Geography.
