Extension for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory musical

The hit West End musical production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory has released 400,000 extra tickets, extending its booking period until 1st November 2014.

The show has previously been booking until 31st May, and extends its run by six months owing to popular demand.

Based on Roald Dahl’s classic children’s novel, the current cast stars Douglas Hodge as Willy Wonka and Nigel Planer as Grandpa Joe.

When Charlie wins a golden ticket to the weird and wonderful Wonka Chocolate Factory, it’s the chance of a lifetime to feast on the sweets he’s always dreamed of.

But beyond the gates astonishment awaits, as down the sugary corridors, and amongst the incredible edible delights, the five lucky winners discover not everything is as sweet as it seems.

Booking a school trip to see the show

School trip organisers booking for ten or more students are entitled to discounted rates.

School group rates are available for Tuesday and Wednesday evening performances and Wednesday matinees.

The musical has curriculum links for Primary to Key Stage 3 in English, Drama, Music, Art, and Design and Technology.
