Discover cold blooded species at Woburn

Date Posted: 06/04/2015

Woburn Safari Park in Bedfordshire has opened a brand new cold blooded species exhibit called The Dissscovery Zone.

Located within the Foot Safari area, children can now walk on the wilder side and get up close with some of the park’s scalier, slimier and most secretive species.

The Dissscovery Zone has been specially designed to allow school groups to get very close to and learn all about a range of cold blooded species including snakes, Chilean rose tarantulas, Madagascan hissing cockroaches, lizards, giant snails and endangered Mantella Golden Frogs.

Students will have the opportunity to meet keepers and hear first-hand about reptiles, invertebrates and amphibians.
