Creative workshops from Tall Stories

Date Posted: 13/10/2014

Tall Stories theatre company is offering creative workshops to local school groups, alongside its new Christmas show, The Snow Dragon, which will run at St James Theatre in London from 9th December to 4th January.

Schools in the borough of Westminster have the opportunity to book a free two-day Snow Dragon creative arts workshop alongside a visit to the play.

Using the book as a starting point, Tall Stories will send an artist to work alongside teachers to provide a workshop based around the themes and images in the story.

The finished artworks will form an installation / exhibition in the theatre foyer, so when the children come to watch the show, they can see their artwork in a professional setting.

The artist will then return to each school and explore the students’ responses to the show.

Relaxed performance of The Snow Dragon

There will also be a relaxed performance of the show, suitable for children with special needs and particularly suitable for autistic children, on Thursday 18th December at 12pm.
