Catwalk creations form fashion exhibition at Bowes

Birds of Paradise: Plumes & Feathers in Fashion will run at County Durham’s Bowes Museum from 25th October until 19th April.

The exhibition features extravagant catwalk creations and elegant eveningwear together with shoes and accessories from Christian Dior, Cristobal Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen and Jean Paul Gaultier.

The Bowes Museum offer a group coordinator to help school trip organisers on their visit.

There is also a selection of practical workshops to choose from at the venue; covering KS1 to 4 and incorporating subjects from Art and Design and History.
