Cast changes in West End's Wicked

The West End production of Wicked has announced a series of cast changes, with Willemijn Verkaik set to play Elphaba and Savannah Stevenson taking on the role of Glinda.

Other cast changes comprise Jeremy Taylor as Fiyero, Sue Kelvin as Madame Morrible, and Sam Kelly as The Wizard. Paul Clarkson takes on the role of Doctor Dillamond, Bog will be played by Sam Lupton, and Katie Rowley Jones will be Nessarose.

Directed by Harold Prince, Wicked plays at the Apollo Victoria Theatre, and is now in its eighth year, making it the 15th longest-running musical in the West End.

Synopsis of Wicked

Based on the acclaimed novel by Gregory Maguire, Wicked tells the untold story of an unlikely but profound friendship between two girls who first meet as sorcery students.

Their extraordinary adventures in Oz will ultimately see them fulfil their destinies as well-known Wizard of Oz characters, Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.
