CBBC Deadly series comes to Longleat

Date Posted: 14/02/2013

Opening from 31st March, school groups visiting Longleat Safari and Adventure Park can see its newest feature, Deadly Adventures, part of a four-year development plan from a collaboration with the BBC.

The four-year plan will see areas of the park transformed in the style of the BBC’s successful Deadly-branded programmes which include: Deadly 60; Deadly Top 10s; Deadly 360; Deadly Art and most recently Deadly Mission Madagascar, as seen on CBBC.

A Deadly Safari, helping pupils to discover some of the park’s deadliest creatures, is voiced by Deadly presenter Steve Backshall, and incorporates facts and experiences from his on-screen adventures.

Also coming in 2013 are Deadly Challenge zones, which will see students pitch their skills against those of some of the world’s most lethal creatures. Check points along the way will feature quizzes and challenges from Steve.

Special Deadly Adventure events are also planned over the 2013 season starting this Easter to tie in with the opening of the Deadly Safari.

Discounts are available at Longleat for groups of 12 or more children.
