Beverley Knight is to extend her current run in the starring role of Rachel Marron in West End musical The Bodyguard until 31st May 2014.

The British singer joined the cast of The Bodyguard in September, along with leading man Tristan Gemmill, who plays Frank Farmer.

The pair star in the roles made famous by Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner in Lawrence Kasdan’s 1992 Oscar-nominated film.

Three times MOBO Award-winning Beverley Knight is a singer, songwriter and record producer. She has sold over one million albums in the UK, achieving four gold certified albums as well as the platinum selling Voice: The Best of Beverley Knight.

Billed as a romantic thriller, The Bodyguard is currently booking at London’s Adelphi Theatre until 30th August 2014.

Performance times are Monday to Saturday at 7.30pm with Wednesday and Saturday matinees at 3pm.

School trip organisers booking tickets to the matinees shows should note that the role of Rachel Marron will be played by Joelle Moses.

Discounted rates are available for parties of six plus.
