Technology giant Apple is hosting field trips to selected stores across the country, which are designed to enhance classroom learning using the company’s products.

The Apple field trips will challenge students to use their imagination and develop their creativity.

Open to all school-aged children, each field trip lasts between 60 and 90 minutes. They will challenge students to use their imagination and develop their creativity using Apple technology.

The field trips, which can accommodate up to 25 pupils at one time, can be tailored to complement current studies and can cover the following topics:

  • Discovery & Experimentation: students will learn the value of conducting experiments and overcoming challenges.
  • Interactive Storytelling: using literacy and creative skills, students will bring stories to life.
  • Digital Marketing: in this session pupils will create digital projects that aim to inspire change in areas such as sustainability and health.

Using Apple products, each session will use the power of touch, motion and sound to create an immersive learning experience.

Teachers will also get the opportunity to see how the iPad, as well as content from the App Store, iBooks Store and iTunes U can be used back in the classroom to enhance learning.

The Field Trips are currently available in selected stores in Bristol, Edinburgh, Gateshead, Kingston upon Thames, Liverpool, Sheffield and Southampton
The Field Trips must be booked in advance online on a first-come, first-serve basis.
