A season of cultural events in Greenwich

The Royal Greenwich Festival is a season of music, dance and family entertainment which aims to celebrate the cultural vibrancy of Greenwich.

The series of events will run throughout the summer and beyond, until 2014, in venues, parks and open spaces across the Royal Borough.

A range of free and ticketed events

Greenwich Dances, a festival of dance and movement, will take place between 17th May and 27th June. Visiting schools will be able to watch inspiring performances and join in with workshops.

Greenwich+Docklands International Festival (GDIF) from 21st to 29th June, comprises free outdoor performing arts (theatre, dance, and street arts).

Live music and dance performances

Running from 1st June to 28th July, Parksfest is a programme of free events across local parks in Royal Greenwich, including live music concerts and dance performances.

Throughout July, Greenwich Dance and Greenwich Theatre will bring together professional artists and local community performers as part of the Greenwich World Cultural Festival, transforming the open spaces, secret hideaways and historic gardens of Eltham Palace.

Running until March 2014, the Greenwich Music Festival is a series of public performances, including staged work, dance, chamber music concerts, film, lectures and educational outreach programs.
