3D Biology lessons in Cardigan Bay

Date Posted: 21/07/2015

Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre has launched a new virtual reality attraction, which allows pupils to learn about the underwater world.

The Sea Quest experience gives students the opportunity to use Oculus Rift headsets, which create a 3D world, to take part in a virtual mission.

In the mission, visitors have to explore and photograph an underwater scene. As they explore, they get the chance to get up close to a basking shark, bottlenose dolphins and other rare marine wildlife.

The experience is the latest addition to the centre’s educational offering, which also incorporates activities in the Patent Slip educational building and on the beach.

All visits to the centre can be tailored to suit your specific Curriculum requirements.
