2014 exhibitions programme at the Museums Sheffield

The three arts and culture venues making up Museums Sheffield; the Millennium Gallery, Graves Gallery and Weston Park have released details of their 2014 exhibitions.

Pole Position: Polish Art in Britain 1939–1989 will run at the Graves Gallery from 11th January to 28th June.

Created from the private collection of Matthew Bateson, Pole Position features the work of Polish émigré artists forced to flee mainland Europe during World War Two.

Another new exhibition, Printing Sheffield runs almost simultaneously at the Millennium Gallery from 25th January to 15th June.

Printing Sheffield will reflect the diversity and abundance of contemporary printing in Sheffield and includes works by Jo Peel, James Green, Phlegm, EMA and Kid Acne.

Against the Grain at the Graves Gallery from 7th December to 28th June brings together a beautiful selection of 20th century wood engravings from Sheffield’s collections.
