School Travel Awards

There’s still time to nominate, enter and vote in the School Travel Awards 2018/19; here are just a few reasons you should get involved.

1. There’s £3,000 up for grabs

The ‘My Best School Trip’ Award and the School Trip Champion Award both offer a prize of £1,500 to the winning teacher and/or school to put towards a future trip.

Previous winners have chosen to use the money to return to their winning destination and have claimed that the money truly helped fund their next adventure.

2. Recognition for you, your school or attraction

Often we take for granted the wonderful efforts by those who organise school trips and those operators and attractions that offer that little bit extra. The School Travel Awards give you and your school/attraction the recognition you deserve for all your hard work and help promote learning outside the classroom.

3. Trophies to display with pride

Winners will receive a certificate and a fantastic School Travel Organiser trophy that you can display for all to see, so those visiting you can see you are an award-winning attraction and go the extra mile for school travel.

4. Glitzy ceremony

Winners and finalists will be invited to a five-star ceremony at the Royal Garden Hotel in London on Friday, 16th November for a three-course meal, drinks, live entertainment and of course the main event… the School Travel Awards! Television presenter Fiona Bruce will once again host the awards ceremony, which is set to be another fantastic event.

5. Celebrating school travel

Getting involved with the awards reinforces the message about the importance of learning outside the classroom. The team at School Travel Organiser magazine, who run the Awards, are all passionate about the benefits of outdoor learning and we love hearing from all of you. So, whether you win or not, we love sharing your experiences and featuring them in our magazine! So what are you waiting for?
